Briarcliff Manor American Legion Post 1054 was proud to award the 2023 American Legion Spirit Awards to the following Briarcliff Manor High School Seniors:

• Margot Flores: Margot received our nomination because of her quality and varied community service work. She has spent time with and/or worked on projects for the following groups: a Mexican orphanage, the Atria, the Cottage School, 911 Cares, the Prom Dress Drive, and vaccine registration.

• Daniel Sugrue: Daniel received our nomination in large part through his service with the Briarcliff Manor Fire Department. Not only has he been a volunteer member for a number of years, but in 2022 he was awarded the Ronald C. Jankowski Firefighter of the Year Award.
